Q: How far in advance do I need to book an event?
A: I have clients who book shows a year in advance; I also have clients who call the same day as the event. Although you might be able to book Johie the Clown on short notice, it’s best to book your event as early as possible, especially if your event falls between the prime time of 11 am to 5 pm during the weekends as those slots fill up quickly. Please call Johie as early as possible to book your event.
Q: How do I book an event?
Q: Is Johie the Clown Insured?
A: Yes, Johie is fully insured. Proof of insurance can be produced upon request.
Q: Do I need to give Johie a deposit to book an event? If so what are my payment options?
Q: Is there a cancellation policy?
A: Once your event is booked by paying the deposit, your time is officially reserved. If you cancel your event within 2 weeks of the day of the event, Johie will refund your deposit in full.
Q: What if there is bad weather the day of the event?
A: If you feel the need to cancel your event due to bad weather, Johie will work with you to find a new date that works for both you and Johie. If a new date is not possible, Johie will give you a deposit credit that you can use for a future show (or you can give as a gift).
Q: Does Johie bring her own microphone and speaker?
A: Yes she does. She brings her own microphone and radio and as soon as she walks through the door, she’s ready to get the party started!
Q: What kind of face painting products do you use?
A: Johie uses only FDA approved face and body paint because she is committed to the safety of your children. These water-based formulas are specifically designed to be hypoallergenic, gentle and easy to remove with mild soap and water. The brands she uses are Snazaroo, Paradise, Wolfe Brothers, Mehron, and Kryolan.
